If you suspect that someone has gained unauthorised access to your SSHIA account, act quickly to secure it and report the incident.

If you suspect your account has been compromised:

  1. Change your password immediately: Go to My Profile > Security Settings > Change Password.
  2. Enable two-factor authentication: If not already enabled, set up 2FA to prevent future unauthorised access.
  3. Review your account activity: Check My Profile > Security Settings > Login History for any suspicious logins.
  4. Contact Technical Support: Email support@sshia.org immediately with details of the suspected breach. The team will investigate and take appropriate action.
  5. Change passwords on other accounts: If you use the same password on other platforms, change those passwords too.

SSHIA will never ask for your password via email, phone, or SMS. If you receive a message claiming to be from SSHIA and asking for your password, it is a phishing attempt. Report it to support@sshia.org and do not click any links in the message.
