SSHIA sends important notifications via SMS, including OTPs for two-factor authentication, membership renewal reminders, and training confirmations. Keeping your phone number up to date is important.

To update your phone number:

  1. Log in to the SSHIA portal.
  2. Navigate to My Profile > Edit Profile.
  3. Update your phone number in the Contact Information section.
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. You will receive a verification SMS to your new number. Enter the code to confirm the change.

Use the international format for your phone number (e.g., +211 for South Sudan). If you are changing your number because you have lost access to your old number and cannot receive the verification SMS, contact Technical Support at support@sshia.org with proof of identity.

If you have two-factor authentication enabled and change your phone number, ensure that 2FA is updated to use your new number before you lose access to the old one. Navigate to My Profile > Security Settings > Two-Factor Authentication to update your 2FA settings.
