SSHIA requires specific documents to verify your identity, qualifications, and professional standing. Having these ready before starting your application will speed up the process.

The following documents are required for all membership categories:
- Valid national ID or passport (scanned copy)
- Passport-sized photograph (recent, clear background)
- Academic certificates relevant to health informatics or a related field
- Professional CV (for Associate, Full Member, and Fellow categories)
- Employer letter or proof of employment (for Full Member and Fellow)
- Completed application form (available on the portal or at the secretariat)
Corporate and Institutional members must additionally provide a certificate of incorporation or registration, and a letter of authorisation from the organisation's leadership.
All documents should be in PDF or JPEG format and not exceed 2MB per file when uploading online. If submitting physically, bring both originals and clear photocopies. Documents in languages other than English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
