How long does the SSHIA mentorship relationship last?
The SSHIA Mentorship Programme is structured around defined cohort periods to ensure that both mentors and mentees have clear expectations and commitments.

The standard SSHIA mentorship relationship lasts 6 months for the free track and 12 months for the paid track. During this period, mentors and mentees are expected to meet at least once per month (in person or virtually) for a structured session of 60–90 minutes. At the end of the mentorship period, both parties complete an evaluation, and mentees who have met the programme requirements receive a mentorship completion certificate.
After the formal mentorship period ends, many mentor-mentee pairs choose to continue their relationship informally. SSHIA encourages this and provides a platform for ongoing connection through the member portal and community events.
