The SSHIA Mentorship Programme is evaluated through:
- Mid-point evaluation: Both mentors and mentees complete a structured survey at the midpoint of the programme to assess progress and identify any challenges.
- End-of-programme evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation at the end of the programme assessing goal achievement, satisfaction, and overall impact.
- 6-month follow-up: Mentees are contacted 6 months after programme completion to assess the longer-term impact on their career and professional development.
- Annual programme review: The Mentorship Committee conducts an annual review of programme data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
Evaluation findings are used to improve the matching process, update the programme curriculum, and identify training needs for mentors. SSHIA publishes an annual Mentorship Programme Report that summarises key findings and outcomes, available to members in the portal under Resources > Programme Reports.
