What is the South Sudan National Digital Health Strategy and what does it mean for health workers?
I have heard about a National Digital Health Strategy for South Sudan but I have not been able to find the document. Can anyone share what it covers and what it means for health workers on the ground?

The South Sudan National Digital Health Strategy outlines the government vision for using digital technologies to strengthen the health system. Key pillars include: strengthening the national health information system (DHIS2); expanding electronic health records in hospitals; developing a national telemedicine framework; building health informatics human resource capacity; and establishing a health data governance framework. For health workers, it means that digital tools will increasingly be part of daily work, and building digital literacy is essential.
The strategy is available through the Ministry of Health and WHO South Sudan. SSHIA has been involved in consultations on the strategy and can provide members with a summary of the key provisions. Contact the SSHIA Secretariat for more information.
