How can we support new SSHIA members to get the most from their membership?
New members sometimes struggle to navigate all the resources and opportunities that SSHIA offers. How can we better support new members to get the most from their membership?

A structured onboarding process for new members would make a big difference. This could include: a welcome email with key resources and next steps; an orientation webinar for new members; a buddy system that pairs new members with experienced members; and a new member checklist that guides them through the key features of the member portal. SSHIA is developing an improved onboarding process based on feedback from new members.
The most important thing for new members is to get involved early. Attend a webinar, join a discussion board conversation, or apply for the mentorship programme. The more you engage with SSHIA, the more value you will get from your membership. Do not wait for SSHIA to come to you — reach out and get involved.
