What is the SSHIA continuing professional development (CPD) framework?
I want to understand how SSHIA CPD works and how I can track my professional development. Can someone explain the SSHIA CPD framework?

The SSHIA CPD framework assigns CPD points to different types of professional development activities: attending SSHIA training programmes (10-40 points depending on duration); participating in SSHIA webinars (2 points each); attending the SSHIA Annual Conference (10 points); publishing a research paper (20 points); presenting at a conference (10 points); completing an online course (5-15 points); and participating in the mentorship programme (10 points). Members are encouraged to accumulate at least 20 CPD points per year.
CPD records are maintained in the SSHIA member portal. You can view your CPD history and download a CPD transcript under My Profile > CPD Record. The CPD transcript is useful for job applications, performance reviews, and professional registration renewals. SSHIA is working with the Ministry of Health to have SSHIA CPD recognised in the national health professional registration system.
