How can we improve DHIS2 training for health workers in South Sudan?

Peer learning is very effective for DHIS2. Pair experienced DHIS2 users with less experienced colleagues and create opportunities for them to work together on real data tasks. This is more effective than classroom training alone and builds a culture of knowledge sharing.

Contextualise DHIS2 training to the specific use case of the trainees. A health information officer who enters routine HMIS data needs different training from a data analyst who creates dashboards. Avoid generic training that covers everything — focus on the specific tasks that trainees will perform in their jobs.
