How can South Sudan contribute to global health informatics knowledge?

South Sudan has unique experience and knowledge that is highly relevant to global health informatics, particularly in the areas of health informatics in conflict and humanitarian settings, low-resource digital health implementation, and community health information systems. By publishing research, presenting at international conferences, and participating in global health informatics networks, South Sudan professionals can share this knowledge and influence global practice.

SSHIA actively promotes South Sudan participation in global health informatics forums, including the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) and the African Health Informatics Association (AfHIA). Members who want to present their work internationally can apply for SSHIA travel grants to attend conferences.
