In-person training is conducted at the SSHIA training centre in Juba or at partner venues across South Sudan. It offers face-to-face interaction with trainers and peers, hands-on practical exercises, and immediate feedback. In-person training is recommended for practical skills such as DHIS2 data entry, laboratory informatics, and equipment operation.
Online training is delivered via the SSHIA e-learning platform and includes live webinars, self-paced courses, and virtual workshops. Online training is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection and is ideal for participants outside Juba or with busy schedules.
Blended learning combines online pre-learning with in-person practical sessions, offering the benefits of both formats.
For participants in remote areas of South Sudan with limited internet connectivity, SSHIA is developing offline-compatible training materials that can be downloaded and completed without a continuous internet connection. Contact the Training Department for the latest information on offline training options.
