Can SSHIA training be recognised for academic credit?
SSHIA is working to establish formal recognition arrangements with academic institutions so that SSHIA training can contribute to academic qualifications.

SSHIA is currently in discussions with the University of Juba and other academic institutions in South Sudan and the region to establish credit recognition arrangements for SSHIA training programmes. Under these arrangements, completion of specified SSHIA programmes would be recognised as equivalent to academic modules, allowing participants to use their SSHIA training towards a formal qualification. Updates on these arrangements will be communicated through the SSHIA website and member newsletter.
In the meantime, SSHIA training certificates are widely recognised by employers, government ministries, and international organisations operating in South Sudan as evidence of professional competence. Many SSHIA members have used their training certificates to support applications for promotions, new positions, and international opportunities.
