What are the challenges of implementing electronic health records in South Sudan hospitals?
Our hospital has been trying to implement an EHR system for two years but we keep running into the same problems: power outages, staff turnover, and lack of technical support. I would like to hear from others who have successfully implemented EHRs in similar settings.

For technical support, we partnered with a local IT company that provides on-site support once a week and remote support via phone and WhatsApp. This has been much more cost-effective than trying to maintain an in-house IT team.
Staff turnover is a constant problem. We addressed it by training multiple staff members in each department rather than relying on one or two super-users. We also created simple training materials that new staff can use to get up to speed quickly without needing a formal training session.
