About Us

Advancing Health Informatics for a Healthier South Sudan

The South Sudan Health Informatics Association (SSHIA) is the national professional body for health informatics in South Sudan. Founded by health professionals, statisticians, and technologists, SSHIA works to professionalise health information management, promote digital health innovation, and support evidence-based decision making across the health sector.

Our members work in hospitals, county health departments, national ministries, universities, and partner organisations. Through training, mentorship, research, and advocacy, we are building the human capital that South Sudan’s health information revolution requires.

Our Vision

A South Sudan where every health decision is informed by quality data.

Our Mission

Professionalise health information management and champion digital health.

Our Community

500+ members across all ten states and three administrative areas.
